The Kite & The Flier

Free-spirit soaring on the winds of ‘unknown’
Darting, diving, soaring, weaving
Hurtling rapidly toward the ground
Propelled high, rescued by unseen breath

Anchored to the ground of familiarity
Twisting, yanking, wind breath-holding
Anticipating a sudden crash, then lift,
Flying, at the hand of the kite.

Free-spirit soaring on Spirit’s breath
Twirling, swooping, dancing, floating
Drawn closer, sent out, drawn in again
Buoyed through ever-changing winds

Faithful Author of wind and sky
Constant, steady, faithful, strong
Orchestrating subtle change, unfazed
Sustained in the Master’s technique
